Perrin slain by Dragons

CHICO – RW Aldridge has developed a talent few pitchers, even in the majors, have mastered.

Perrin’s junior pitcher had no trouble picking off Chico baserunners Friday evening, nailing four runners at first base in the game. The Dragons, however, got enough timely hitting to take control early and post an 11-3 victory over the Pirates here.

PERRIN – Perfection is considered by the number 300 ... at least in bowling.

Perrin Softball Coach Ben Staggs reached “perfection” Tuesday afternoon with his 300th coaching win, an 18-0 District 21-A opening victory over visiting Graford. Staggs admitted his career has been far from perfect, but he was glad to open district action on a high note.
