Myrtle Fae Tilghman

Myrtle Fae Tilghman passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Jacksboro.

She was born in Jacksboro, Texas March 28, 1942 to Charlie Otto and Ann Ella McQueery Tilghman. 

She worked in many restaurants in Jacksboro and Mineral Wells. Myrtle received her LVN license in 1982 and practiced at Palo Pinto General Hospital, Faith Community Hospital and for hospice. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles Tilghman, Walter Tilghman and Steve Tilghman and wife Dollie, brother in Law David Stansell, son in Law Jackie Ricks. 

Gregory Ray Hesteande

Gregory Ray Hesteande died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was 53.

He was born July 28, 1962 in Jacksboro, Texas to Edward Ray and Linda Earlene (Cowger) Hesteande.

He graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1980 and worked as a truck driver for Grable Oil Company for 16 years.

Survivors include his children Megan and Dustin Hesteande of Kansas and Krysten Hesteande of Wichita Falls; parents Ray and Linda Hesteande; grandson Keiondrae Wilcox; brothers Bruce Hesteande and wife Theresa; and Steve Hesteande; one nephew Blake Hesteande.

James Roy Dorman

James Roy Dorman, 68, of Jacksboro, Texas went to be with his Lord on June 3, 2016. 

He was proceeded in death by his mother Vivian (Watkins) Dorman Hicks, father E. C. Dorman Jr., in-Laws Charlie and Velma Slimp, and brother-in-law Larry Carter.

Doris Ogle

Doris (Faulknor) Ogle, 75, of Jacksboro, Texas, passed away Monday June 6, 2016. Services were Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksboro with burial following in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Charles Dalton Self

Charles Dalton Self, of Jacksboro, Texas passed away on Monday May 30, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was 78 years old.

Charles was born on February 19, 1938 to Steven Lewis and Viola (Whitsitt) Self in Jack County, Texas. His father passed away when he was 8 years old and Viola married Erno Woody. Erno raised Charles as his own son.

Charles married Linda Pippin on December 9, 1961. He was self-employed in the oil field and a member of the Assemblies. But most importantly he was a loving and kind husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
