Dorothy Nell Estes

Dorothy Nell Estes passed away at her home in Wizard Wells, Texas. She was 75 years old.

She was born on March 18, 1941 to Daniel Fletcher and Caldonia “Callie” Damron in Jack County, Texas. 

Dorothy married Bill Estes at the stroke of midnight January 1, 2000. She was a loving caregiver before retiring and also a homemaker. She enjoyed life to its fullest with a laugh that all will remember fondly. Dorothy enjoyed playing golf, shuffleboard, bowling, and spending time with her family which she dearly loved.

Debra Ann Baker

Debra Ann Baker went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday April 29, 2016 in Jacksboro. She was 61 years old.

She was born November 19, 1954 in Jacksboro, Texas to Edward Raymond and Shirley Christine (Bodey) Crowley.

Debra was a homemaker and she also took care of her grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church but most importantly she was an amazingly kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Kelly Glenn Curtner

Kelly Glenn Curtner passed away at her home in Conroe, Texas Sunday May 1, 2016 at the age of 56.

She was born September 1, 1959 to William “Bill” and Marinette “Polly” (Day) Kimberlin.

Kelly grew up around Graham and Jacksboro, and ultimately, graduated from Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas. She lived in Jacksboro, Graham, and Conroe for most of her life and worked as a realtor for many years.

She is preceded in death by her father Bill Kimberlin and her mother Polly DeVoss.

Evelyn Irene Hobson

Evelyn Irene Hobson passed away at her home in Jacksboro Wednesday May 4, 2016. She was 77 years old.

She was born November 8, 1938 in Jacksboro, Texas to John Henry and Rosie (Whitson) Hobson.

Evelyn was a bookkeeper for Hurd Oil Company and a member of Live Oak Baptist Church. She was a loving and kind Christian woman.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Lola, Edna, Hubert and Gilbert.

Evelyn’s memory will be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Obituary: Terri "Missy" Bevers

Terri Leann “Missy” Bevers, 45, died Monday April 18, 2016 in Midlothian Texas. 

Missy was born in Graham Texas August 9, 1970 to James C. and Norma L. Strickland. Missy grew up in Jacksboro Texas where she loved to entertain her older brother Clifford, who she affectionately called Bubba, and pester her younger brother Clint. 

As a child, Missy began to hone her skill of gathering friends. Everyone was welcome to join as long as they knew how to have fun. She never met a stranger and was always willing to give everything she had to help others.
