James Roy Dorman, 68, of Jacksboro, Texas went to be with his Lord on June 3, 2016. 

He was proceeded in death by his mother Vivian (Watkins) Dorman Hicks, father E. C. Dorman Jr., in-Laws Charlie and Velma Slimp, and brother-in-law Larry Carter.

He is survived by wife Cynthia Ellen Dorman of 39 years, daughter and son-in-law Kim and Brian Veselka and granddaughter Madison Veselka, all of Jacksboro, Texas; Dana Sue Smith of Hot Springs Arkansas; sister-in-law Pat Carter of Carrollton, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Cathie Slimp of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces and nephews, Christi and Andrea Carter of Carrollton, Texas, Scott and Andrea Carter of Rowlett, Texas, Stacie Slimp Poynor of Jacksboro, Texas, Tonya and Luke Armstrong of Jacksboro, Texas, Stephenie Slimp of Fort Worth, Texas, Stan and Samantha Slimp of San Antonio, Texas, Brian and Melissa Slimp of Galveston, Texas, and David Webb of Hot Springs, Arkansas. A host of many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved so much.

Following cremation, a celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016.
