After a District-6-3A Division II title, Jacksboro Tigers’ football team and coaches were rewarded for its past football season with several accolades.
The accolades were highlighted with Caleb Helm named offensive MVP and Luis Ponce named defensive MVP. The coaching staff also received accolades for staff of the year.
1st-Team Offense
Landon Davenport was selected at quarterback as were Randall Hamilton, Mason Damron, and Kenny Perry at lineman, Jaylen Lewis, and Seth Isbell at wide receiver/tight end and Justin Loucks as fullback.
2nd-Team Offense
Bryan Peebles was a pick as a lineman, the only second team offensive pick.
1st-Team Defense
On the line, Isbell and Hamilton were selections as was Loucks at linebacker. In the secondary, Davenport, Rylan Chalmers, and Ty Rodgers received nods.
2nd-Team Defense
Brayden Roberts was a selection on the line.
Honorable Mention
Receiving the accolades at their position were Daylan Valles and Taylor Donnelly (running back), Jordan Yount (quarterback), Justin Littleton (defensive line), and Lewis (defensive end).
Academic All-District
Those named to the academic all-district team, were Will Cross, Donnelly, Isbell, Loucks, Dario Piedra, Rodgers, Giovanni Salazar, Garrett White, Chalmers, Davenport, Hamilton, Aaron Harmonson, Caiden Vasquez, and Cody Frie.
