After a second-place finish in District 5-3A division II, Jacksboro landed several on the All-District list announced recently.

The Tigers, who finished 6-5 overall, had two players named to superlatives. Senior Landon Davenport was Offensive MVP while offensive lineman of the year was classmate Randall Hamilton.

On the first-team offense, was freshman Lando Belcher. Belcher started the year on the JV and was moved up midway through district.

Named to the first team defensive squad was Jaylen Lewis at a lineman as well as Hamilton. Davenport and classmate Dylan Thomas were first-team picks at linebacker while Yount and Rylan Chalmers were first team picks in the secondary.

Second Team Offense Thomas was a pick at a running back as was Taber Dunn and Andrew Olivarez at linemen.
