Jacksboro 37, Vernon 30

The Purple got out to a double digit lead in the first quarter but a Lady Lion uprising in the middle quarters made things interesting late.

Tullous had another five spot in the second quarter with Bennett and classmate Rachael Chalmers adding baskets. Vernon had a 10-point second quarter but was still down 25-14 at the half.

A four-point Jacksbro third frame enabled the visitors to make things interesting. Kylie Tullous had the lone basket for Jacksboro with Valenzuela and Mathis picking up single free throws. Jacksboro still had a slim four-point lead, 29-25 heading into the final eight minutes.

Perez led the Tigerette offense in the fourth with a three-pointer. Mathis and Kylie Tullous each had a basket and Bennett a free throw to hang for the win.
