Tigerettes’ softball advances to area playoffs

GRAFORD – Jacksboro’s softball team needed three games but eventually ousted District 8-3A champion Brock last weekend in the bi-district round of the playoffs.

The Tigerettes, the fourth seed out of District 7-3A won the opener 5-3, but lost Game 2 Friday, 11-4, before rebounding in the rubber game Saturday, 11-6. Jacksboro will face Ballinger in the area round beginning at 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday at Stephenville High.
