BOWIE – A 16-hit attack, coming from all part of the lineup was enough to keep Jacksboro’s softballers perfect in District 7-3A with a 19-0 win over Nocona here March 23.

The Tigerettes scored in every inning, scoring three times in each of the first two innings to take control. Singles by Hadlee Richardson, Kylie Tullous, and Alex Holman loaded the bases to open the 2:05 game.

A left fielder’s error scored two runs and brought Rylee Mathis aboard. A wild pitch plated Mathis for a 3-0 lead. The bases were quickly filled once again as Destany Valles and Harlee Richardson sandwiched walks around a Teagan Reynolds single before a strikeout ended the frame.

Another three-run inning was highlighted by hits from Hadlee Richardson and Tullous with wild pitches bringing them and Holman home for a 6-0 cushion.
