Tigerettes move to 8-1 in 7-3A with 6-1 victory over WF City View

WICHITA FALLS – A quick start by Jacksboro’s softballers was enough to ward off the host Lady Mustangs, the Tigerettes marching on in their quest for title with a 6-1 win over City View April 13.

Jacksboro is now 8-1 in the loop with three games left, including Senior Night Friday vs. Henrietta.

Jacksboro jumped out to a 3-0 lead before City View got to bat, keyed by back to back homers by freshman Kylie Tullous and senior Alex Holman.

City View got its run in the third but the Tigerettes, behind a 13-hit attack, added a fifth inning run and a pair in the seventh. Tullousled the offensive charge with four hits while Holman had two hits and two RBIs.

The girls then returned home from a successful two game road trip and beat Nocona, X-X
