Three group of Texas Angels softball teams had solid tournaments in Duncan, Okla. over the weekend, finishing in the top three in their age brackets.

The 14u team won its bracket, paced by a number of Jacksboro girls. Kylie Tullous had a solid tournament offensive, batting over .800. Jacksboro High School sophomore Avery Bennett tossed four games and finished 3-1. Ashlyn Nunley, Charlie Phariss, Maddy Morgan and Mayci Ryans all had stellar weekends in the outfield as did Payton Nail at DH in representing Jacksboro.
