Pardue’s 5 three-pointers lifts Tigerettes past Burk

Jacksboro’s girl basketballs had their home opener Nov. 10 vs. Class 4A Burkburnett and outscored the Bulldogs in three of the fourth quarters to help post a 50-39 win at Tiger Gym.

Jacksboro over came a lack of free throws, burying 8-10 by converting six three-pointers. Five came from Brynn Pardue, who led the squad with 15 points.

Jacksboro led 13-9 at the quarter and 22-14 at the half. The Tigerettes outscored the visitors 15-11 in the third to take a 12-point lead into the final stanza.

Pardue had five threes but received plenty of support with Alex Holman with nine points and Teagan Reynolds with eight tallies.

Jacksboro hit the road Saturday to face Graham.
