Jacksboro Middle School had a successful meet in hosting the Jacksboro Invitational Monday here.
Results are as follows:
7th Grade Girls
The squad, which was 5th overall out of seven teams was led by third-place finishes from both the 800-meter relay team of Priscilla Langley, Lilli Luna, Kirra Smith and Wendy Guerrero in 2:14.89 and the 1,600-meter relay quartet of Luna, Smith, Guerrero and Jacquelin Saucedo in 5:27.99. Finishing fourth was Latisha Godines in the 1,600-meter run (7:33) and Avery Bennett in the shot put (26’4”)
Finishing in fifth place were Langley, Luna, Smith, and Guerrero in the 400-meter relay in 1:01.67, Saucedo in the 800-meters (2:54.46), and Dayanara Delgado in the 1,600-meters (7:44). Erin Jonas had the lone sixth-place finish in the discus with a 49’ throw.
