JMS runners compete in Wichita Falls meet
WICHITA FALLS – Jacksboro Middle School’s cross country runners ran strong and continued to improve after a meet here Saturday.
The Tigerette girls finished fourth as a team, led by Brailyn Tullous n 10th with a 14:30 time. Emily Rodgers was 16th in 15:22 followed by Lilliana Perez in 23rd with a 16:15 and Michelle Barron in 16:32.
Also running for the Tigerettes was Madison Collins in 31st in 16:56, Dylan Nichols in 33rd with a 17:00, Bella Nail in 34th with a 17:26, Ruby Flores with a 17:35 in 36th spot and Kaile Lehman in 39th with a 19:08.
A pair of sixth grade girls ran unattached Rylee Bennett finished in 14:42 and Kylie Johnson finished with an 18:09.
The boys had just three runners so they also ran as individuals. Eli Jonas fifth in 12:56 with Eric Pizana in 16th with a 14:20 followed by Gavin Kennedy in 15:13 finishing in 22nd place.

“We are very excited about the improvement we showed at this week's meet. Every single kid ran stronger, ran tougher, and ran better times,” Coach Steve Hooten said.
