The road to a playoff spot continues.
To get to a play-in game for the fourth and final playoff spot in District 7-3A, Jacksboro’s varsity volleyball team needed a win over Paradise on Senior Night while Tolar needed a win over Millsap. Both happened Tuesday night, the Tigerettes needing little more than an hour to take care of the visitors 25-11, 25-19, 25-10.
With Tolar’s sweep of Millsap, the squads will have a one-match playoff for all the marbles today at 5 p.m. in Mineral Wells. The winner of Friday’s match will face District 8-3A champion Holliday in the bi-district round.
If the winner of Friday’s match is Jacksboro, the match is set for Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Graham.
Jacksboro Coach Tennessee Arey said the best part of the season has been simply watching the girls grow as a team.
