Jacksboro is getting used to late offensive explosions.

March 22 in Tolar, the Tigerettes held a slim 3-2 lead in its last regulation at-bat before exploding for five runs in the top of the frame and taking an 8-3 win. Tuesday night, Jacksboro fell behind 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth before another offensive uprising propelled the squad to victory with a 9-4 win over visiting Millsap at Tigerette Field.

Jacksboro closes the first round of District 7-3A play at 3-4 and on a two-game win streak.

Millsap had used one-out singles from Jessica Morgan and Haylie Allen and an error by the left fielder to take a 4-3 lead in the top of the sixth. Jacksboro came storming back in the bottom of the inning. Teagan Reynolds opened by reaching on a center fielder’s error.
