Bryson VB falls to Poolville

Thu, 09/13/2018 - 12:21 pm

BRYSON – The Cowgirl varsity volleyball team had a chance to have an early voice in the district volleyball race with a win over visiting Poolville Saturday, which was co-district champions a year ago.

That voice came out loud and clear in game one before the Lady Monarchs stormed back with a big frontcourt game that allowed the visitors to take control and post a 20-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 win over Bryson in the district opener for both schools.

Third-year Bryson Coach Chelsea Kincaid said her squad is still working on some things that need to be corrected in the short term.

“We’re continuing to work on our leadership, which seems to come and go,” Kincaid offered following the 1:40 match. “It was one of those days where the little things were off and the big things followed.”
