Watt Delford Tucker

Watt Delford Tucker, 79, of Perrin, Texas, passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was born April 6, 1938 in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Watt was a lifelong resident of Perrin; his passions included racing, mechanic work, farming and his family. He also served on the Perrin school board for several years. He knew the importance of education and always encouraged his children and grandchildren to get an education. He was so proud of his grandchildren; he beamed when he talked about them and to them.

He was preceded by his mother Stella Tucker and father Denton Tucker of Perrin.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Bertha Tucker, daughters Stella Singleton and husband Richard of Perrin, Mary Ramey of Perrin, grandchildren Christy Tabors and husband Mark of Stephenville, Jennifer Singleton of Perrin and Cody Ramey of Perrin, brother Wylie Tucker and wife Peggy, niece Kim Putman and family and nephew Tim Tucker and family along with numerous family and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday June 30 at The First Baptist Church of Perrin. Interment at Perrin Memorial Cemetery will follow. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday June 29, 2017  at the funeral home.
