Vickie Lynn McAnear, 70, passed away Friday, May 13, at her home in Jacksboro surrounded by her family. A visitation was held on from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro.

Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Coker Funeral Home with burial following at Gibtown Cemetery.

Vickie was born Jan. 19, 1952 in Jacksboro to John Worthington and Ann Keeran Worthington. She married the love of her life, Thomas Joe McAnear on Dec. 31, 1971 at the Memorial Christian Church. Vickie was a member of Joplin Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. Most of all she loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Nothing meant more to her than her family, they were her entire world. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know her and will be dearly missed. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include husband, Joe McAnear; daughters, Misty McAnear and James Thornton of Jacksboro, and Lacy Myrick and Eric Justus of Windthorst; brother, Terry Worthington and wife Caroline of Vineyard; grandchildren, Kailey Shaw, Makenna McAnear, and Shelby Myrick; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
