Tony Cleveland King

Tony Cleveland King peacefully passed away at the age of 82, at his home in Bryson, Texas April 15, 2017. 

Tony was born to Harvey and Alta (Chambers) King on July. 23, 1934 in Bryson, Texas. He married Mary Alice Bryson on August 30, 1952.

Tony retired from ARCO in 1985. He was a rancher in Jack and Young County. He was on the Board of Directors and served as the President of the Bryson Cemetery Association for many years. Tony was a member of the Bryson Church of Christ and coached Little League baseball in Carrollton and Graham for nearly 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dearl King, two sisters, Neva Day and Helen Joyce, and two grandsons, Jake King and Garrett King.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, one sister, Hazel Cusenbary of Wichita Falls, five children, Carol Shough of Graham, Doug King of Sanger, Janet VanDyke of Graham, Kenny King of Abilene, Valorie Kondracki of Bryson, 14 grandchildren, Cortney King Trammell, Allison Casteel Moore, Mandy Martin Foster, Ashley King Stephens, Matthew Martin, Betsy Casteel Figg, Bryson Kondracki, Tino Ortiz, Kendal Kondracki Ash, Sadie King, Tony Christian Kondracki, Cady VanDyke, Nevaeh Shough, and Embyr Shough and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the proud great grandfather of 12, Alyssa and Brooklyn King, Hadley and McCrae Trammell, Braxton, Presley, and Lincoln Moore, Reagan and Karper Figg, and Nixon Stephens, Braxton and Jaxon Foster.

Services were held at the Bryson Church of Christ Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Burial followed at Cottonwood Cemetery at Bryson, Texas.
