Tommie D. McDonald
Tommie D. McDonald was born April 7, 1941 in Graham. She was the daughter of Ed and Vonnie (Tilghman) Swan.
She and the late Leroy McDonald married June 2, 1962 in Jacksboro. Tommie was a homemaker, but also volunteered her time driving the Concerned Citizens van and worked for period of time at Jacksboro National Bank. You could count on her to be at every event, game and activity that her children and grandchildren were involved in.
Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Earl Wayne McDonald; brother, Edward Swan and sisters, Edyth Jackson and Mary Jo Howard.
She is survived today by her daughters, Linda Massengale and Deanna Brown; sisters, Darcus Myers and Patsy Harding; her nephew who was like her own brother, Bill Richardson; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 23 at Live Oak Baptist Church, with burial following in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
