Tayler Cheyenne Reeves-Wimberly, of Plano, died January 29, 2017. She was 19 years old.

Tayler was born January 15, 1998 in Wichita Falls to Edward J. “EJ” Wimberly and Jodie Reeves. She grew up in Perrin.

She graduated with honors from High Frontier Academy in Fort Davis, Texas. From there, she went on to embrace the adversity of her life with the same open arms that she brought into her recovery.

At the age of 18, she celebrated two years of sobriety and brought light into the lives of the many people she helped through service work.

She worked as a daycare provider for infants and toddlers where she was able to fulfill her love and passion for children.

She is survived by her guardian Randal Anderson and siblings Jamie Hall, Shelby Wimberly, Tyler Wimberly and Sydney Wimberly.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. January 31, 2017 at Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75238.

Memorials may be made to the Buckner Foundation, a cause that was dear to Tayler’s heart, by visiting www.donate.bucknerfoundation.org.
