Sheila Mae Cox Mauney, 73, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 31 in Gibtown surrounded by her family.

A Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at Coker Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Coker Funeral Home. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery.

Sheila was born Feb. 12, 1949 to Richard and Katie Lou Lawrence Cox in Jacksboro. She married the love of her life, Frank Mauney in Gibtown. Sheila was very strong in her faith, where she loved to sing and play the piano. Most of all she loved spending time and being surrounded by her family and closest friends.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents; and great-grandson, Cohlson. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Frankie; and sons, Eddie Rogers and wife Amanda of Poolville, and Bill Mauney and wife Jenny of Katy.
