Ronald Benjamin Newberry, 80, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 in Graham surrounded by family.

A viewing was held at Coker Funeral Home on Monday, July 6 from 3 to 7 pm. A Funeral Service was held at Christian Missions Church in Jacksboro Tuesday, July 7 with a burial following in Oakwood Cemetery.

Ronald was born on August 31, 1939 to George Oscar Newberry and Grady Inez (McAvoy) Newberry here in Jack County. He married the love of his life Mary Ann Anderson on November 10, 1957. Ronald worked here in Jack County in the Oilfield throughout his life. He loved riding dirt bikes and being with his friends. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cindy Dale Newberry; brothers, Robert Newberry and wife Dixie, Leon Newberry and wife Faye; sister, Joe Newberry and husband Frank.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Newberry; son, Ronald J. Newberry and wife Valorie of Austin; daughter, Liane Horton and husband Babe of Graham; sister, Virgie Johnson; brother, Oscar Newberry and wife Betty; grandchildren, Wacey Horton and wife Christian, Trent Horton, Mason Newberry, Reagan Newberry, Ruby Newberry; great grandchildren, Nicole Richardson, Gracie Ramsey, Harley Horton, and Cabel Horton.
