Pascal Lee Gwaltney, a.k.a. Pack or Packie, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2021 at the age of 87.

Pack was born in Jacksboro, Tx on April 12, 1934 to Judge Raymond and Agnes Gwaltney. He was affectionally called “Packie” by friends and neighbors growing up. Pack always had a love of flying and his career began crop dusting. He later became a flying mud engineer in Louisiana. He was a wildcatter in the oilfields and worked West Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, and Colorado landing back in Texas with his own oilfield consulting firm and workover rigs.

He married Paula Gene Outcalt in 1955. The family of five stayed busy in school, church, scouting and activities throughout their many moves.

Surviving children are Paul (Julie) Gwaltney, Gina Robinson (Doug Prophitt),

Connie (Richard) Lowe. Pack is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and greats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ken (Dottie), Roderick (Sue), sister Florence (Hyle) Doss and grandchild Taylor (TJ) Robinson.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, Jan. 28 at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro.
