Oral Thomas Jump, 91, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 in Jacksboro, Texas. He was born on October 7, 1929 in Polk County, Missouri to William Thomas Ezra Jump and Ida Jane (Linch) Jump.

Tom married Clara Mae Johnson on July 10, 1950 in Elko, Nevada. Together they raised six children. He proudly served in the United State Army as medic. Throughout his life, Tom did many things. He was a musician, truck driver, ranch foreman, cemetery maintenance supervisor, retiring after 20 years as caretaker for Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, Texas.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae (Johnson) Jump; parents; sons, Noel Thomas Jump and Michael Leslie Jump; and daughter, Linda Joyce Jump.

He is survived today by his daughter Kathy Warnell and her husband Ben; daughter, Karen Reed; son, Robert Jump and wife Lily; sister, Dorothy Yarbrough and husband Jim; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held 10am Monday, May 17, 2021 at Coker Funeral Home.
