Michael Trey Pruitt went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday January 16, 2017. He was 17 years old.

He was born on July 8, 1999 in Bedford, Texas to David and Christy (Jordan) Pruitt.

Trey was a junior at Jacksboro High School where he excelled in many sports including football, baseball and track. He was also active in FFA and a member of Bible Baptist Church. Trey was an amazing person to know, he was an incredible son, brother, grandson and friend. He will leave a hole that no one else could ever fill. He will be missed terribly.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Cindy Dixon, and Jean Ritcheson.

Among those who will cherish his sweet memory include his parents David Pruitt and Christy Pruitt; brothers Dylan Ervin and Zach Pruitt, and sister Jordan Pruitt all of Jacksboro; grandparents Don and Linda Pruitt of Perrin; Chris Jordan of Corpus Christi; Nancy Jordan of Irving; aunts Jennifer Jordan of Jacksboro, Dawn Howard of Bedford and Cate Ronalder of Crowley, and many other extended family members and too many friends to count.

There will be a celebration of his life at 10 a.m. Friday, January 20 at Bible Baptist Church with B.J. Nunley officiating and burial to follow at Gibtown Cemetery under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.
