Michael Dale Petty passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, in Fort Worth, at the age of 60 years old. He was born June 10, 1961, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Roy Petty and Margie (Myers).

A visitation was held 6-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at Coker Funeral Home. A celebration of life service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Christian Missions in Jacksboro.

Michael is preceded in death by his brother, Alan Petty, who passed away in September 2011.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherri Petty; children, Justin Gary and Demi, Erick Roberson and Shan; sister, Carol Northrip and Richard; brothers, Bob Petty and Sandra, David Petty and Peggy, Jim Petty and Melisa; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; along with many extended family and friends.
