Lucille Gail Amburn, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 12, surrounded by family in Fort Worth. She was born Aug. 29, 1946, in Tarrant County to Vernon and Beulah Esther (Toliver) Daugherty.

A visitation was held from 6-7 p.m. Friday, June 21 at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at the First Baptist Church in Perrin. Burial followed at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Gail married Paul Amburn on July 17, 1964, in Fort Worth. Together they raised their three children, Paula, Truman, and Sherry. Gail was a member of the Perrin Assembly of God Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Gail is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Morris Daugherty, Grady Daugherty, Jeannie Ray, Harry Daugherty; and grandchild, Amanda Grace Hudson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Paul Amburn of Perrin; children, Paula Hickman, Truman Amburn and wife Teresa, Sherry Harris and husband Scott; nine grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Daugherty and wife Louise; along with many extended family and friends.
