Linda Pippin Self died May 24, 2019 in Jacksboro. She was 75 years old.

Linda was born June 23, 1943, in Jacksboro, Texas. She was the daughter of John Edgar and Alma Marie (Forbus) Pippin. She and the Late Charles Dalton Self were married December 9, 1961 in Jermyn, Texas. She attended Jermyn Baptist Church and a was a homemaker. 

Linda was considered a jack-of-all-trades as she loved crafts, cooking, gardening and doll making.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma Marie Pippin and husband, Charles Self.

She is survived today by her children, Trena Osteen and husband Mark of Jacksboro; Davy Self of Eastland, Texas; Buzz Self and wife Tammy of Jacksboro; two brothers, Dennie Pippin of Jermyn, Texas and Ronnie Pippin of Graham, Texas; her grandchildren, Charla Zielinski, Dustin Howard, Nicole Pennartz, Travis Osteen, Lindsey Barr, April Burgess; eight great-grandchildren, Trey, Katie, Abby, Haylie, Sarah, Emry, Harper, Haddie and one more on the way.

Services were held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Jermyn Baptist Church with burial following at Roberts Branch Cemetery.
