Linda Earlene Hesteande, of Jacksboro, Texas passed away on Saturday June 25, 2016 in Jacksboro. She was 76 years old. 

She was born on October 3, 1939 in Jacksboro to Albert Earl and Myrtle Alta (Denson) Cowger.

Linda married Edward Ray Hesteande on October 4, 1958 in Jacksboro and was a 1958 JHS graduate. She was a store clerk for years at various places and a homemaker as well. Linda was a loving, caring, and kind Christian wife, mother, sister and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Greg Hesteande; her sisters Wanda Jones, Willene Conner Wilma Moss; Bonnie Wells, Nell Pigg; and her brother Hap Jackson.

Among those who will cherish her sweet memory include her husband Ray Hesteande; her sons Bruce Hesteande and wife Theresa and Steve Hesteande all of Jacksboro; sisters Imogene Suter of Decatur and Barbara Ivey of Mineral Wells; her grandchildren Megan, Dustin, Blake and Krysten Hesteande; her great-grandson Keiondrae Wilcox; and many other extended family members and friends.
