Lee Dunlap, 79, of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, in Wichita Falls, with family by her side.

A visitation was at held 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at First Baptist Church with funeral services following at 11 a.m.

Amelia Irene (Lee) was born July 13, 1943, in Houston, to Roy Lee and Bessie Viola (League) Cain. Lee graduated from Anson High School before moving to Jacksboro where she met the love of her life, James Nolan Dunlap Jr. They married Feb. 23, 1963, at Live Oak Baptist Church. Lee was a familiar face for over 35 years at the First National Bank in Jacksboro where she served as Vice-President. She thoroughly enjoyed her role as the liaison for Collette Tours, taking many customers/ friends on trips all over the world. She was very involved in the Jacksboro Community, where she and Nolan lived, raised their family, and built a life together. Lee and Nolan were active members of Live Oak Baptist Church, where Lee was a Past Secretary. She has also served as President of the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce; Board Member of the Jacksboro Economic Development Corporation and was named Outstanding Citizen of the Year. But, her greatest accomplishment was loving and being loved by the many people who called her Mom, Sis, Friend and Ginga.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Jeffrey Lee Cain and brother-in-law, Mitch Baker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Staci Kenvin and husband Steve; Holly Snider and husband Shane; Sisters, Teresa Baker; Laurel Thompson and husband Wendel; Doris King and husband Leon; sister in law, Faye Perritt and by her grandchildren, Kortland, Kyler, and Paxton Kenvin and Logan, London and Larson Snider, as well as, numerous other family and friends.
