Joyce Boone was born on Aug. 3, 1952 in Jacksboro to John and Francis Hayhurst.

She left this earth on Sept. 3, 2020 with her family by her side. Joyce was a generous and caring person. She was a friend to those who needed on and would give all she could to those in need. Joyce loved her family deeply. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother.

She would be very happy to know that her three sons, two of her grandchildren, and her husband were at her side when she took her last breath. Joyce is survived by her husband Keith, her sons Patrick (Charlette), Ernest, Curtis (Stacy), her six grandchildren, her sister Benny Picket, her brothers Jack Hayhurst and Mark Hayhurst, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, Sept. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Twin Lakes Community Center. Coker Funeral Home is in charge of services.
