Jo Grace Barker, of Olney, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Wichita Falls. She was 76 years old.

Jo was born July 22, 1946, in Ryan, Okla. to Ed and Jewell (Smith) Wells.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Southside Baptist Church in Olney.

Throughout her life Jo was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Olney, the Heritage Program and the Hamilton Hospital in Olney.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Archie Wells, and Donald Gene Wells; and sister, Velda Swaim.

Jo is survived by her children, Robert C. “Tinker” Barker Jr. of Olney, and Julia Stevens and husband Lyman of Parker County; grandchildren, Tate Doran, Carson Gonzalez, and Levi Stevens; three great grandchildren; siblings, Paul Wells of Montague, and Ruby Byrne ofWichita Falls; along with many friends.
