Jerry Don Sharp, 66, passed away at his home in Jacksboro on Saturday, Nov. 22. He was born on April 27, 1953 in Mineral Wells to Jerry and Frances Sharp. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksboro. 

Jerry married Karen Fowler in Jacksboro. He was a former member of the Jack County Sheriff Posse, a retired truck driver and also proudly served our country in the United States Marines towards the end of the Vietnam War. 

He is survived today by his wife Karen Sharp of Jacksboro; mother, Frances Sharp of Strawn; children, Shyan Sharp, Donna Sharp, Jeri Lynn Withrow of Jacksonville, Fla, Benjamin Sharp of Millsap, Ariel Sharp of Strawn, Amanda Ponce De Leon of Ranger, Kurt Wigington of Jacksboro, and Shane Wigington of Burnet; sister, Debbie Unkart of Strawn; and brother, Danny Sharp of Strawn.
