Jeanne Renee Baltine Harris passed Thursday, July 14. Jeanne was born May 5, 1961 in Salina, Kan. to Henry and Doris Baltine.

The family followed Jeanne’s father Henry (Hank) from Schillings Air Force Base in Salina to Reinstad Air Force Base in Germany, and eventually to Sheppard Air Force Base, where Jeanne graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1979.

In 1987, Jeanne and Randall Allen Harris (Randy) were married. Jeanne, Randy, and their children, Michael and Taylor, lived at the family ranch in Jack County for many years. She worked in the Jack County Auditor’s and Tax Assessor’s offices and for her husband’s oil and gas business.

The family moved to Azle in 2007, and Jeanne moved to Seymour after her husband’s passing in 2014. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son.

She leaves behind many loving family members and friends: daughter Taylor Harris-Sturgis and Ian Sturgis; grandchildren Raina Haire, Wade Harris-Sturgis; and Josephine Harris-Sturgis, all of Seymour; sisters Theresa and David Gill of Seymour, Mary Jane Baltine of Wichita Falls, Susan and Todd Andrews of Meadville, Penn; and Sabrina and Charles Wolpert of Indialantic, Fla. Also stepmother Waunda Baltine, stepsisters and brothers-in-law Susan and John Beck, and Christy Ostapchuk, all of Norman, Okla.; and Cynthia and Michael Fullerton of Richmond, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeanne’s life, 3-6 p.m., Saturday, July 30, at the Homewood Suites in Wichita Falls, 2675 Plaza Parkway.
