Geneva Jane “Penny” Walker, 85, entered into Heaven’s Gates and into the loving arms of Jesus on October 15, 2016 in Mineral Wells. 

She was born January 10, 1931 in Parks, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Lane and Dorothy Ora Dover Pennington. She was a longtime resident of Jack County and had lived in Mineral Wells for the past five years. She worked at Bag and Wag Grocery in Jacksboro for many years. 

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Wesley and Brenda Williams of Cool, Jamie Parrott of Keller, and Shay Walker of Jacksboro, sister-in-law: Gwen Pennington of Fort Worth, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, children: Joe Parrott and Johnny B. Parrott, and her husband Eugene Walker in 1988. The family would like to extend gratitude and sincere heartfelt thanks to all at Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab and Solaris Hospice.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Salesville Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie DeArmond officiating.
