Evelyn Irene Hobson passed away at her home in Jacksboro Wednesday May 4, 2016. She was 77 years old.

She was born November 8, 1938 in Jacksboro, Texas to John Henry and Rosie (Whitson) Hobson.

Evelyn was a bookkeeper for Hurd Oil Company and a member of Live Oak Baptist Church. She was a loving and kind Christian woman.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Lola, Edna, Hubert and Gilbert.

Evelyn’s memory will be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Live Oak Baptist Church with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Live Oak Baptist Church under the direction of Coker Funeral Home
