Ervin Lawrence “Willy” Rich of Jacksboro, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was 73 years old. He was born on February 11, 1943 to Bill Thomas and Evelyn (Wooten) Rich in Lampasas, Texas.

Willy married Gaylon Joyce Jeffrey on September 28, 2011 in Jacksboro, Texas. He was a cattle rancher and a former prison guard. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Among those who will cherish his memory include his wife Gaylon Rich of Jacksboro; step-children Joe Cox, Michael Cox, Carol Calvin and husband Willie; special niece and nephew Billy Langley and Shelby Vick; sister Patsy Byrd; grandchildren Joseph, Willie, Marcus, April, Crystin, Kayla, Kelsey; and many other cousins and extended family members.

Services were held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Winn Hill Cemetery with Bro. B.J. Nunley officiating under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.
