Elvira Candelaria Balli

Elvira Candelaria Balli, 98, left this world to rest until the coming of the Lord on Sunday, July 11, in Jacksboro.

A Celebration of Life was held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 16 at Coker Funeral Home, with a burial at DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 20.

Elvira Balli was born on March 6, 1923 to Antonio and Felipa Plata Candelaria in Victoria.

Elvira is preceded in death by John Balli, her husband of 70 plus years, her parents and all of her siblings: brother: Selestino, Jr.;  and sisters: Lily Serrata, Teresa Santiago, Tony Mendez and Felipa Laurel

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Edward Balli and wife Nancy, Becky Seals and husband Larry, Grace Peterson and husband Danny, John Balli Jr., Phil Balli and wife Sharon; her 6 grandchildren, Michael Seals and wife Annabel, Melissa Yelverton and husband Bryan, Lauren Smith and husband TJ, Cindal Dominguez and husband Frank, Riana and Alexa Balli; and six great grandchildren, Austin Seals, Avery, Taylor and Dylan Yelverton, Rowan and Kai Smith, many nephews and nieces and friends.

The family would like to thank Leisha, Emelda, Misty and all the Greystone staff for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Elvira in her final days.
