Lendon served on the Jacksboro School Board for 9 years, several of those years as president of the board. He and Anne spent years serving as boosters to the Jacksboro Band as well. He dedicated his time to his town and community and most of all his family.

Due to COVID-19, we chose not to have a service at the time of his passing, and instead we have created a website to celebrate his life and our love for him, and his love for his family and friends. We apologize to his friends and loved ones that it has taken so long to accomplish this.
We are also going to have a Celebration of Life for both Lendon and Anne Dutton on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 1-4 p.m., at Prosperity Bank Community Room (201 S. Main St. in Jacksboro). We hope that their friends will be able to attend to help us celebrate this very special couple.
