Dorothy “Dottie” Johnson, 99, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Granbury,

Texas.

A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, March 30 at 11:00am at The Jacksboro Parish.

Dottie was born on June 11, 1921 to Robert Lee Griffin and Mary Newsom Griffin in Coleman, Texas.

She married the love of her life, Clifford Ray “Peanut” Johnson on November 10, 1945 in Tell, Texas. Dottie worked at The First National Bank of Jacksboro until she retired. She was also a member

of the Memorial Christian Church (The Jacksboro Parish).

Dottie is preceded in death by her husband Clifford; parents Lee and Mary Griffin; granddaughter, Shelly Wyneken; sisters, LaVerne Patrick and Inez Davis.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include sons John Johnson and wife, Vicki of Granbury, Jim

Johnson and wife, Cindy of Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren, LeAnn Hollenbeak, Riley Johnson,

and Ely Parks; great grandchildren, Caleb Wyneken, Hannah Wyneken, Nova Hollenbeak, Asia

Hollenbeak and niece, Mary Brigham.
