Doneta Deen “Mam” Leach died February 16, 2017 in Wichita Falls. She was 87 years old.

She was born August 17, 1929 in Oxford, Kansas. She was the daughter of Frank and Thelma Shields Upshaw. She and Edward “Shine” Leach were married May 20,1949 in the Antelope Baptist Church in Antelope, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Antelope Baptist Church since 1950. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. 

She is survived by her husband, Edward “Shine” Leach; daughter, Linda Collie and husband Tommy; son, Dean Leach and wife Evie; brother, Charles Wray Upshaw; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, February 21 at First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Burial followed in Lynn Creek Cemetery.
