Daniel Heath Kirk, 31, unexpectedly passed from this earth Monday, Sept. 6. Daniel Heath was born in Mineral Wells on April 13, 1990, to Danny Kirk and Tammy Ogle.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksboro.

Daniel grew up in Jacksboro and was a 2008 graduate of Jacksboro High School. He was truly a down to earth, hardworking country boy through and through. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and no matter where he was at, if an old country song started to play, Daniel would begin to dance. He enjoyed the simplicity of life and surrounding himself with those he loved. One of Daniel’s greatest accomplishments in life was being a loving and caring daddy to his three beautiful children. They were his complete world! He genuinely adored them with his entire heart. Daniel will be deeply missed by his family and friends who loved and cherished him endlessly.

He is survived by daughter LeeAnn Michelle Kirk; sons Waylon Bailey Kirk and Braxton Cutter Long; parents Tammy and Jerry Ogle; sisters and brothers-in-law Ashley and Rolando Borjon, Bambi and Jeremy Foley; brothers Chris Ogle and Chandler Ogle; grandparents John and Dixie Ash, Gerald Ogle; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Daniel is proceeded in death by his father Danny Lewis Kirk; and great grandparents George and Beulah Musser, John Lester and Carmen Ash.
