Coman Ray Vann, age 89, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, in Wichita Falls. His last place of residence was Henrietta. He was born March 21, 1933, in Quinlan, to Oscar and Cloe (Ketner) Vann.

Mr. Vann served in the United States Air Force for several years and was associated with the Fundamental Baptist Church of Bridgeport, and the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Clay County Community Center in Henrietta, with Pastor Roy Boswell delivering the Eulogy.

Coman married Linda Brewer Martin on Sept. 23, 2021, in Jack County, where they made their home until moving to Henrietta.

He leaves behind him to cherish his memory his wife; two sons, George and John of Sault St. Marie, MI; a stepson, David Gulledge of Jack County; a sister, Sue Sizemore of Henrietta; brother, Earnest Vann of Jack County; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Vann is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Laura and Marie; four brothers; and three sisters.
