Charles Randall Geer

Charles Randall Geer, 71, died June 18, with his family by his side in Dallas.

Randall was born on Dec. 5, 1949, to Charles Geer and Betty Sue Geer Still in Jacksboro. He was a graduate of Jacksboro High School and continued his education, ending up at the University of North Texas.

He worked at Geer Tank Trucks, in the Oil and Gas industry, for 43 years retiring as President of the company.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Charles Geer, his mother Betty Sue Geer Still, his step-father Lee Still, his brother Stephen Geer, and daughter Misti Michelle Geer.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Geer of Graham, his sister Jana Douglas and husband, Mac of Lubbock, his children Shala Geer Smith of Keller, Ryan Geer and wife, Melissa of Artesia, New Mexico, Kim Hicks and husband, Jason of Abilene, Lori Dhurandhar and husband, Samir of Plano, grandchildren, Hannah Hicks, Hailey Hicks, Blayze Burns, Mia Dhurandhar, Cole Dhurandhar, Brennen Smith and Brock Smith. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Randall will be forever remembered for his love of life, humorous nature, witty character, love of Possum Kingdom Lake and Ruidoso, NM, orneriness, but most importantly his unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.

The family would like to thank all the health care professionals from Methodist Dallas for their great care and are sincerely grateful to the wonderful staff who comforted and cared for him in his last days.

Visitation took place at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham Tuesday, June 22. A graveside service will be celebrated at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23.

Donations may be sent to the Transplant Institute at Methodist Dallas, 1441 N. Beckley Ave, Dallas, TX 75203 tribute to Randall Geer in lieu of flowers.
