Charles Elmer Pierce

Charles Elmer Pierce, 73, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Jacksboro. 

Charles was born in Jack County June 21, 1943 to Elmer and Zettie Bell Tripp Pierce. 

He was a graduate of Bryson School and was the owner of Pierce Plumbing serving all of Jack County for decades.

Charles, a beloved father, brother and papaw, loved to hunt, fish and play guitar and sing. He had a deep love for his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brother Don Pierce and sister Margaret Nantz.

Among those who will cherish his memory include daughters Starlene Kelley and husband Kenny of Mineral Wells; Eva Holmes and husband Mark of Jacksboro; sons Adrian Pierce and wife Kim of Cool; and Carl Pierce of Jacksboro; two brothers Arthur Pierce and wife Mary of Jacksboro; and Earl Dean Pierce of Jacksboro; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10 at Christian Missions will burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
