Bret Everett Hull, 52, of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro with Joe Paul Nichols and Aaron Lewis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro. The family will conduct a private graveside service.

Bret was born July 19, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Everett and Vanita Hull. He married the love of his life, Janay Lilley Hull on Aug. 8, 1992. He was a proud graduate of Tarleton State University and a long time Jack County Rancher. He was named the 2018 Farm Family of the year for Jack County, was runner up for Texas Conservation Ranch of the year in 2014, and has served as the Treasurer for the Jack County Youth Fair for 15 years. He was a member of the Jacksboro Church of Christ.

Bret is survived by his family that he loved and was so proud of; his wife of 28 years Janay Lilley Hull; and his two sons Colton Bret Hull and Cason Bray Hull. He is also survived by his parents Everett and Vanita Hull; his mother and father in-law Johnny and Jan Lilley; one sister Vanessa Dykstra and husband Hans; one brother in-law Jon Lilley; and one niece and two nephews.

The pallbearers will be: Garland Easter, Kevin Smith, David Rater, Randy Hines, David Ballou, and Levi Kirk. The honorary pallbearers will be: Randy Deweber, Billy Easter, Chris Gasca, and Keith Umphress.

We know that the decision to attend a service during the pandemic is a very personal one, so regardless of whether you join us in person or in thoughts and prayers, your kindness is deeply appreciated.
