Billie Jenell Martin passed away Friday, Sept. 9, in Jacksboro, at the age of 93 years old.

She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Talbert, to Olin Otto Patton and Ruby Frances (Sikes).Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro. Burial followed at Lynn Creek Cemetery Jenell married the love of her life, Richard Eldon Martin, on Feb. 20, 1960, in Jacksboro. They were happily married until his passing in 1998. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the school secretary for the Jacksboro Independent School District for over 27 years.

Jenell is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Dub Patton.Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Blake Martin and wife Kathy, Tracie Pippin, Denese Rogers and husband Preston, and Scott Martin and wife Michele; grandsons, Parker Martin, Grayson Martin, Jessica Garza and husband Adrian, Lance Pippin, Seth Rogers and wife Lindsey Rogers, and Cayley Strickland; and great- grandchildren, Connor and Ivy Rogers.
