Betty Jean (Harrison) Lones was born on February 10, 1935 to Gordon and Callie (Schuster) Harrison in Dallas, Texas. She passed away in Jacksboro on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020. She was 85 years old. She married Jerry “Mett” Lones on May 30, 1964 in Dallas. Betty was the Deputy Custodian of Records for the Chief Medical Examiner at Parkland Hospital.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Mett Lones, parents and step daughter Toni Freydenfeldt.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her step children Bonnie Fisher, Ricky Lones, and Gerald Lones and Brenda “Freddie”. Grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View.
