Benny Dan Garrett, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 1,2017 in Denton, Texas. 

Benny Dan Garrett was born August 21,1939 in Olney, Texas. He was the son of Ben Franklin and Bertha Estelle Boyles Garrett. He and Edna Deatherage were married July 27,1957 in Olney, Texas. 

Mr. Garrett worked as a Engineer for Arco Pipeline until his retirement 16 years ago. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksboro, Texas and the International Order of the Odd Fellows.

Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Edna; children, Tina Danette Bindel and husband Ben Joseph; Benny Mack Garrett and wife Tricia Lynn; Sharon Renee` Davis and husband Allen; grandchildren, Stacie Nicole Garrett-Purcella; Danielle Renee` Bindel; Courtney Lynn Zuber; Brandan Joseph Bindell; Briana Nicole Bindel; Stephanie Renee` Zwinggi; Brittney Leigh-Ann Garrett; Elizabeth Lauren Zwinggi; Mason Allen Davis; Kyle Steven Zwinggi; Parker Raye Davis; three great-grandchildren, Kylie Jo Bailey; Ryan Mack Zuber; Emma Michele Purcella and a host of friends.

A funeral service was held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel Jacksboro,Texas with burial following in Restland Cemetery Olney,Texas.
